In 2022 we delivered a series of painted campaign murals for Adidas as part of their UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 campaign celebrating the players competing in the tournament.
The murals featured illustrations by artists including Elena Gumeniuk, highlighting individual players and their journeys in the game. Working through Elena’s agency Roar Artists, we translated the approved artwork into large-scale murals installed in public-facing locations across London.
The featured mural celebrates Spanish international Mapi León, combining portrait illustration with bold graphic elements and campaign messaging. Each mural also incorporated a QR code linking to a short film documenting the player’s story.
To allow the installations to be removed at the end of the campaign, the artwork was painted onto temporary vinyl surfaces applied to the walls, ensuring the underlying structures remained untouched once the campaign concluded.
As with many campaign murals in busy public locations, the work required ongoing monitoring and maintenance while the campaign was live. Our team returned to site when necessary to clean and repair areas of the artwork that had been defaced.
During the project we were also asked to assist with a second mural in the series featuring England defender Millie Bright, illustrated by artist Eve Lloyd Knight, refining the final painted result on site to align with the approved artwork.
Projects like this form part of our wider work delivering
commercial murals and painted brand activations for artists, agencies and global brands.
