Absolutely Studio produced a large-scale exterior mural of Feinschmecker by renowned British contemporary artist Sue Webster on the outside of her studio building, the iconic Dirty House in Shoreditch.
The ambitious artwork spans two elevations of the building, with the composition repeated across both sides of the corner structure. One facade features the artwork mirrored horizontally, creating a bold graphic presence from multiple approaches along the surrounding streets.
The installation was completed over an intensive four-day production schedule. Working in a team of four, we operated two scissor lifts simultaneously, with artists positioned on each side of the building to complete the murals efficiently while maintaining artwork accuracy across the large surfaces.
The Dirty House itself is a notable architectural landmark in East London. Designed by internationally acclaimed architect David Adjaye, the building has become closely associated with Webster’s practice and presence within the Shoreditch art scene.
Commissioned privately by Sue Webster, the project brought one of her distinctive artworks into the public realm, transforming the studio building into a striking architectural canvas.
