Absolutely Studio installed a full room paste-up poster installation at the EMI offices in King’s Cross, featuring artwork designed by illustrator Hattie Stewart.
The installation formed part of a wider interior project that also included painted murals within the workspace. Hattie created a series of vibrant poster designs inspired by magazine covers, each featuring artists from the EMI roster interpreted through her distinctive doodled visual style.
Over thirteen individual poster artworks were produced and arranged as a repeating paste-up installation across the full wall surface. The poster selections were carefully ordered to ensure the repetition of designs remained visually balanced while avoiding unintended clashes between featured artists.
The posters were installed to create a continuous wrapped wall finish, bringing the aesthetic of street music posters into the interior of the office environment while maintaining a clean and tactile final result.
