Hand painted architectural wall graphics installed within the Nike London headquarters showroom.
Within the Nike headquarters in Kings Cross, we were asked to deliver a permanent painted solution for a series of large chevron wall graphics installed throughout the showroom environment.
The walls had previously featured vinyl chevron stripes applied across long interior concrete surfaces. Over time the vinyl began to lift in several locations due to the combination of humidity, surface texture and the length of the installation.
To resolve this, the vinyl graphics were removed and replaced with hand painted stripes, carefully matched to the original colour and positioned precisely along the same layout.
The painted graphics wrap across several wall sections from floor to ceiling, following the architectural edges of the showroom space and forming a backdrop to a series of tension-framed Nike campaign images.
Unlike vinyl, the painted finish integrates directly with the textured concrete surface of the walls, allowing the graphics to follow the natural material of the building rather than sitting on top of it. This approach provides a far more durable solution while maintaining the intended visual clarity of the design.
The installation was delivered in collaboration with Thomas from Sign Amigos who was part of the original vinyl installation team.
This project took place within the same Nike headquarters where we had previously installed the multi-floor mural installation by artist Lakwena, reflecting the ongoing trust placed in our team to deliver specialist painted work within the building.
